A truly sweet and eclectic 'shalawat' or song of praise sang by the late Gus Dur, who is formally known as Abdurrahman Wahid, the fourth President of the Republic of Indonesia. This shalawat of praise, adoration and love for the Almighty begins in Arabic - the language of the Qoran - is later filled with words of wisdom or 'wejangan' in ethnic Javanese and some detectable Bahasa. In some way it resembles the 'bhajan' singing of the Hindu tradition.
